I prefer to teach in a lab or classroom where each student has their own computer and there is a projector.  A hands on approach is best when it comes to learning and refining computer skills.  I have a calm, friendly personality and conduct my class with just enough order that a extracurricular class needs. My classes are interactive and entertaining.  I mostly teach retired adults but I am comfortable teaching 6th-12th and adults.   One of the advantages of being a young adult is being to relate youth, we like to learn and do similar things on the computer.   Every lesson I give out a handout on the topics we will cover during that class. For on-going classes I offer a syllabus at the beginning of class.  I encourage my students to ask questions often and give me input.  I try to adjust class with the speed of the students so we're not going to fast or learning material that they already know.  I like to make myself available for one on one questions for about 15-30 minutes after each class.  For classes that are ongoing, I give out homework too!  Adults say they're over homework but my past students will tell you that have an assignment reminds to practise their skills.
