Volunteer and Training Associate (Climate Corps Bay Area Americorps)
September 2011-
27 July 2012 (assignment end)
  • Managing a volunteer base of around 3000 individuals
  • As of May I've trained 579 volunteers on GRID's mission and on construction and residential photovoltaic basics.
  • Recruiting and improving retention of Team Leaders (Volunteers who have completed at least 5 installations and lead other volunteers during installation)
  • Increased attendance of job trainees via our job training partnerships by 40%
  • Compiling installation packets for in-house installs with permit information and safety information
  • Developed method for tracking skills of Team Leaders to ensure support of Team Leaders in Training
  • Researching and completing energy modelling  on Energy Efficiency for homeowners
  • Harassing Construction about Permits and schedules. :P
